SHARED WONDER: Charity Art Auction and Exhibition 2026

GUESTS RSVP HERE

Shared Wonder: An Exhibition Celebrating Collective Creativity is an exhibit showcasing the works of the students of The Reggio School of Tokyo.

This year we are excited to be expanding our yearly arts event into an even more incredible three day celebration of the creativity inside our community of learners.

The event will be held at Eco Gallery Shinjuku and the larger venue will allow us to further expand the event to include a wide variety of student works including many special displays, videos, and student works not available for auction.

Each year all of the classes at RST work together to create our auction gallery. Throughout the year, the classes plan and create large scale canvas based artworks inspired by our current themes, artists from countries we are learning about, or as a responsive project to gallery and museum visits. This year, we have a total of 17 works in all.

The event serves three primary purposes:

1. To support a charity making the lives of children better.
2. To give our students the incredible feeling of seeing their own works exhibited in a gallery.
3. To allow families in the school a chance to take home a special class project and a piece of school history.

The pieces on display this year will be available for RST community members to bid on through

This year, we will also be allowing families to support the auction through smaller donations at the event. We will have postcards with quality prints of each of the art pieces and a full catalog of works available to purchase for a small donation to charity.  These will only be available at the the venue, so please make sure that you have some change and small bills available to make a donation!

Charity Details

For this year’s charity we will continue to support ‘A Chance In Life” which helps at-risk and refugee youth.

Through their programs they build boys & girls towns which provide children with a place to receive an education and participate in shaping their own experience through being a part of the town’s local government.

“A Chance In Life” has changed the lives of over 40,000 at-risk youth through their “Towns” around the world. They serve refugee and migrant youth in Italy, poor and disabled youth in Ethiopia and children living in marginalized communities in India and Latin America.

Every year they give 4,000 children a chance to become responsible members of their own communities through a unique approach called self-government.

For more information learn about them at: achanceinlife.org
