Weekly Curriculum
RST’s summer program is a chance to experience 6 unique week-long projects, each completely different and offering a unique child-centered and project-based learning experience. This summer, we will cover topics including prehistory, micro-science, summer festivals around the world, installation art and more!
At the end of each month, we invite parents in for a presentation of all of the different projects the children have done.
JULY: Art in Nature
Week 1 July 13 – 17: Beauty of Plants and Fungi
Week 2 July 20 – 24: Animals are Art
Week 3 July 27 – 30: Patterns in the Micro-world
Showcase Day: Thursday, July 30th
AUGUST: Art in Technology
Week 4 August 3 – 7: Creative Robotics
Week 5 August 10 – 14: Makers in Music & Fashion
Week 6 August 17 – 20: Magic with Digital Media
Showcase Day: Thursday, August 20th
Immersion Programs:
Immersion Programs are additional special week long classes in the afternoon for children in our Summer program. These classes are taught by an RST teacher specializing in a particular subject. We recommend these for children with a strong interest in the topic available for the week. Please note, due to activities, these classes are restricted by age.

Creative Costume Makers (Ages 4+)

STEM Laboratory (Ages 3+)
Week 4 August 3 – 7:
The Art of Book Making (Ages 4+)
Week 5 August 10 – 14:
Dance: Bop, Bounce & Boogie (Ages 3+)
Week 6 August 17 – 20:
Exploring the World of Clay (Ages 4+)
